I love learning about Aztec myths and culture. Long story short: Back in Highschool over a Decade ago I remember realizing that I knew of the God Quetzalcoatl and I thought he was cool, but I didn't know why he was cool, what he was actually the god of, I didn't know any actual stories about him or what he was like. Then the more I thought about it I realized I didn't really have a good grasp on Aztec mythology at all! My mental image of it was based on only on what I had only seen in Media depictions which I knew could not be extremely accurate. They tend to use Mesoamerican Cultures as shorthand for Exotic and Dangerous The more I thought about it the more it made me want to learn more, so I started with some cursory google searches, and then I was sucked down the rabbit hole. Now Aztec: History, Culture, and Mythology has became a special interest of mine! I could literally talk about it for hours without getting tired

It's so tiring when you're constantly the one sending the paragraphs, the one gushing about them, the one constantly comforting everyone - when no one has ever taken the time to do it for you.
